OUR UNIQUE 5G CORAL BOARD

Our in-house developed 4.9 and 5G capable Google Coral Board is combining the abilities of a 5G connectivity enabler and an edge computing device with the possibility to attach peripheral sensor modules for applying advanced 5G use cases like HD video streaming.

Compared to the entry and mid level appliances, this Google Coral Module can be mounted straight on moving devices like drones in the Smart City and Smart Maintenance domain.

IMPROVE FLEXIBILITY WITH OUR MODULAR SENSOR PORTFOLIO

An essential methodology for developing our IoT Sensors is the modular approach that refers to our strategy of having several independent boards where each of them is responsible for providing a predefined set of features. Those boards can be assembled in a flexible way according to the setup of the applied use case.

Special attention is given to our in-house developed 4.9 and 5G capable Google Coral Board, combining the abilities of an edge computing device and connectivity enabler with the option to attach peripheral sensor modules.

READY-TO-GO: NON-MODULAR AND 3RD PARTY DEVICES

X-BRAiN also features non-modular devices with a fixed set of functionalities that are optimised for specific use cases, such as our small-sized asset tracker or health bracelet. Our device portfolio is topped off by third party devices that cover further IoT needs such as soil moisture sensors or weather stations. All third party devices can be connected to our modular boards for data aggregation and processing.

MULTI-ACCESS EDGE COMPUTING & X-BRAiN GATEWAYS

Our portfolio of high-performance edge computing devices is composed of entry and mid level servers (x86) and our unique Google Coral Board. Install them locally on site in order to have a light version of XBRAiN running on premise, along with all the applicable analytics.

ENTRY AND MID-LEVEL APPLIANCES

Use our comprehensive portfolio of high-performance edge computing devices and install them locally for having a light version of X-BRAiN running on-site, along with all the applicable analytics.

Apply local pre-processing and manipulation of data that has been collected by sensors, run machine learning models or accelerate the computational workload. Our devices can also act as 5G anchor in order to enable Ultra Reliable Low Latency Communication (URLLC) or act as X-BRAiN gateway in order to integrate your building infrastructure via industry protocols such as BACnet, Profibus, Modbus and more.

CONNECTIVITY AND COMMUNICATION

Next to basic connectivity options like 2G or 4G, X-BRAiN is fully LPWAN ready in order to provide ultra-low bandwidth solutions that are essential for the IoT domain. This is not only limited to cellular technologies like NB-IoT or LTE-M but also to open-source technologies like LoRa. Additional communication protocols like Sigfox can be integrated on request.

Besides that, ultra-high bandwidth solutions using 4.9 and 5G connectivity are already integrated in X-BRAiN using our unique 5G Coral Board. Our portfolio is also covering several M2M protocols, this includes CoAP, MQTT, NIDD as well as wired communication via SDI-12, I2C or ANA.
